A single engine propeller aircraft belonging to a local aviation community member, takes off after completing the Midair Collision Avoidance Safety Seminar at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., Aug. 18, 2018. The 60th AMW Safety Office hosted the seminar to raise awareness of the mission and promote best safety aerial practices in and around the air space surrounding Travis. Attendees were also given a tour of the control tower, radar approach control system, fire station and static displays of a C-17 Globemaster III and C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft.
