Sgt. Maj. Robert Ledferd, sergeant major of Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, takes time during Exercise Dawn Blitz to serve food aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard, Oct 2. Amid “oorahs” and “good morning sergeant major” were smiles and laughs as Marines were surprised to see him serve their meals. Ledferd said the only thing that was missing was his hair net, as he served chow to the hungry sailors and Marines.
