U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Michael Yanchura, dog handler with 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion attached to Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines (1/5), Regimental Combat Team 8, and his dog, Missy, exit a compound after clearing it for explosives during a cordon and search mission on a suspected enemy weapons cache in Sangin, Afghanistan May 20, 2011. The Marines and sailors of 1/5 are currently conducting combat operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and the International Security Assistance Forces.
