180822-N-MC499-0054 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 27, 2018) Vice Adm. Andrew "Woody" Lewis, commander of the recently reestablished U.S. 2nd Fleet, is rendered honors as he arrives aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) as the first official stop on his tour of forces under his command. Kearsarge is underway for the Carrier Strike Group FOUR (CSG 4) Amphibious Ready Group, Marine Expeditionary Unit exercise (ARGMEUEX). Kearsarge Amphibioius Ready Group and 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit are enhancing joint integration, lethality and collective capabilities of the Navy-Marine Corps team through joint planning and execution of challenging and realistic training scenarios.
