180828-N-AO674-1135 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 28, 2018) A U.S. Marine assigned to the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit scans for surface contacts while standing a force protection watch during a simulated transit aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) as part the Carrier Strike Group FOUR (CSG 4) Amphibious Ready Group, Marine Expeditionary Unit exercise (ARGMEUEX). Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit are enhancing joint integration, lethality and collective capabilities of the Navy-Marine Corps team through joint planning and execution of challenging and realistic training scenarios.
