Attendees of the Sound of Speed Air Show and Open House record a performance from the Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, at Rosecrans Air National Guard Base, St. Joseph, August 25, 2018. The air show was hosted by the 139th Airlift Wing, Missouri Air National Guard and city of St. Joseph to thank the community for their support. The air show committee estimated 45,000 people attended the Saturday performance. The Blue Angels strive to showcase the pride and professionalism of the United States Navy and Marine Corps by inspiring a culture of excellence and service to country through flight demonstrations and community outreach.
