The Hampton Roads Naval Museum hosted a dual promotion ceremony aboard the USS Wisconsin (BB-64) this afternoon. LTJG Duffy and LTJG Kruse, both from the USS George Washington (CVN-73), were promoted to Lieutenant this afternoon. Members of their command and family members were present during the ceremony in front of the iconic turret #1 aboard the USS Wisconsin. The ship is a popular venue for military ceremonies for area commands free of charge. To inquire about setting up a military ceremony aboard the USS Wisconsin or in the museum’s gallery, contact their Special Events Coordinator, Tom Dandes at Thomas.Dandes@navy.mil or at (757) 322-3106.
