The Hampton Roads Naval Museum hosted a dual promotion ceremony aboard the USS Wisconsin (BB-64) this afternoon. LT Leonard Deprisco and LT Fitzgerald, both from the Naval Network Warfare Center in Suffolk, Virginia were both promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Members of their command and family members were present during the ceremony in front of the iconic turret #1 aboard the USS Wisconsin. The ship is a popular venue for military ceremonies for area commands free of charge. To inquire about setting up a military ceremony aboard the USS Wisconsin or in the museum’s gallery, contact their Special Events Coordinator, Tom Dandes at Thomas.Dandes@navy.mil or at (757) 322-3106.
