Los Angeles Fleet Week provides an opportunity for the Marine Corps and Navy to demonstrate the quality of personnel to the citizens of Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Static displays give the Marine Corps the opportunity to cultivate the Navy-Marine Corps relationship with the American people and to showcase the ability to serve as an expeditionary force in readiness.
