Visit board search and seizure team member Petty Officer 2nd Class Alan Clemenson, assigned to Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Pinckney, explains to Royal Brunei Navy boarding team members, the use of a 14-gauge needle to release pressure build-up due to a sucking chest wound injury during medical training as part of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training Brunei 2011. CARAT is a series of bilateral exercises held annually in Southeast Asia to strengthen relationships and to enhance force readiness.
