The 379th Expeditionary Communications Squadron provides vital communication to warfighters on the ground and in flight across the AOR. The squadron’s mission is to provide “confidentiality, integrity and availability” of communications to U.S. Air Forces Central Command’s area of responsibility. More specifically, the “magic makers” provide secure communication capabilities including voice, video and data services, linking service members to military leaders around the world. ”Here at the 379th we provide communications all over the AOR to places like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait. If we have personnel there – we can provide communications to them,” said Capt. Jacob B. Swink, 379th ECS Special Missions flight commander.
