Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany leadership hosted a Women's Equality Day luncheon to celebrate the 1920 passage of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote, August 30. The anniversary of that adoption is officially observed on August 26. While sharing her personal career journey, the guest speaker and general counsel for MCLB Albany and LOGCOM, Tracy Madsen, said she witnessed an ongoing effort to improve the equality for women in the Marine Corps.
