Kuder, a 24-year-old division officer from Columbus, Ohio, stationed aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard, walks and talks with retired Marine, Dr. Donald Barker, a volunteer with Semper Fi Fund at the Palo Alto Hospital, Oct. 7, 2011. Marines, sailors and Coast Guardsmen visited the VA hospital as part of San Francisco Fleet Week. The event is an opportunity for the Navy-Marine Corps team to give back to the community and to show their potential for assisting in humanitarian efforts.
