MCALLEN, Texas-- After a few weeks of training, Texas National Guard Soldiers began work in their sectors fulfilling administrative, survelience and maintenance tasks in order to free up agents and assist in border mission efforts as part of Gov. Greg Abbott's directive of 'putting badges back to the border', Tuesday, May 1, 2018.
