Matt Kelley, an instructor for the Counter Improvised Explosive Device Integration Cell exercise shows U.S. Marines with Headquarters & Service Company, 1st Battalion, 2D Marine Regiment, 2D Marine Division an IED that was buried to conceal its location during a training exercise aboard Fort Pickett, Va., Sept. 12. Kelley explained to the Marines how IED's can be placed anywhere that could be concealed. More than 900 Marines and sailors will take part in the Deployment for Training exercise at Fort Pickett, Sept. 6-23.
