Command Sgt. Maj. Ronald J. Graves passes the Lancer Brigade's Colors to Col. Jay Miseli, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division commander, symbolizing the transfer of his position of responsibility and authority during a Change of Responsibility ceremony at Lancer Field, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Aug. 23. "These colors represent the history of the Soldiers who have fought before us to preserve our freedom," said Graves. "While 2-2 SBCT is relatively young in comparison to our subordinate units, one thing I have learned during my tenure is we are a team."
