Spc. David McCarthy, a member of the Fort Bragg men’s team, straddles the finish line at this year’s Army 10-Miler in Washington, D.C. Oct. 9. The Fort Bragg’s men’s team went on to win first place for the first time ever in the 27 years of the race. “It feels great [winning the Army 10-Miler],” said McCarthy, a public affairs specialist with 82nd Sustainment Brigade. “There isn’t anything better than setting a goal and then accomplishing it.”
