U.S. Air Force "Wings of Blue" Parachute Jump Team members prepare for descent from a U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk during the 2018 Red Tail's Over Montgomery Air Show practice Sept. 7, 2018, over Dannelly Field, Ala. Each cadet on the Wings of Blue is a certified AM-490 instructor and jumpmaster. Most first-jump programs have students jump with instructors, tandem masters, or a static line. However, AM-490 is the only certified program in the world where a student’s very first jump is an unassisted freefall. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Senior Airman Hayden Johnson)
