Fort Drum community members observed the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks during two events Sept. 11 on post. A 9/11 wreath-laying ceremony was conducted at the 9/11 monument outside Clark Hall with the post’s first responders and roughly 200 community members in attendance. Earlier, Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation staff hosted a 9/11 Remembrance Run outside Magrath Sports Complex for Soldiers, family members and Department of Defense civilians.
