Senior leaders of the Royal Thai Armed Forces take a group picture in front of the Western Air Defense Sector mascot, Bigfoot, Sept. 12, 2018. They received a tour of the WADS operations floor and power plant in order to learn more about how the U.S. conducts air defense and talk with air defense subject matter experts. The Washington National Guard is partnered with the Kingdom of Thailand as part of the State Partnership Program since 2002. SPP is designed to establish long term relationships in which U.S. States and their partnered nations share best practices and expert knowledge in a range of areas.
