Pfc. Chris Farrell, a native of Edgewood, Ky., prepares the radios prior to a mission Oct. 1 starting from Joint Base Balad, Iraq. The soldiers of Alpha Company, 2nd Platoon, 4th Convoy Escort Team, 1st Battalion, 149th Infantry Regiment, 77th Sustainment Brigade, 310th Expeditionary Sustainment Command spent October 1-5 traveling across northern Iraq in one of their last major missions escorting convoys before heading south to Kuwait.
