Toy cars and trucks simulate a chemical spill in a tabletop display to help train first responders to assess the emergency and formulate a response. The training is a component of the Toxic Chemical Training Course hosted by the U.S. Army Chemical Materials Activity and the Program Executive Office, Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternative at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, Aug. 27-31. Participants are medical first responders serving the communities surrounding the Army’s two remaining chemical weapons stockpile sites: Pueblo Chemical Depot, Colorado, and Blue Grass Chemical Activity, Kentucky.
