180917-N-SH284-0095 SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (September 17, 2018) Vietnam veteran Scott Suse, a Springfield native, is presented a Vietnam War Commemoration lapel pin recognizing his service during a ceremony where Domenic Sarno, the mayor of the city of Springfield, proclaimed September 17-23 Navy Week outside Springfield City Hall, officially kicking off Springfield Navy Week. Navy Weeks are designed to connect the public with Navy Sailors, programs and equipment throughout the country. Every year, America's Navy comes home to approximately 15 cities across the country to show Americans why having a strong Navy is critical to the American way of life.
