U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Myles Deering, adjutant general of Oklahoma, presents his two-star coin while shaking hands with Pfc. Rachelle Dutton of Elkhart, Kan., and member of the Headquarters Company, 45th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team during his visit Oct. 14. Deering presented her the coin for coming to the aid of victims in a traffic accident in Laghman province. Dutton has been a member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard for less than two years.
