South Carolina National Guard Soldiers with 4-118 Combined Arms Battalion conduct high-water operations and other critical missions in the Chesterfield, South Carolina area Sept. 18, 2018, to ensure the safety of the citizens in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Florence. In total, approximately 3,400 Soldiers and Airmen have mobilized to respond and participate in recovery efforts in South Carolina communities as the storm has caused flooding and damage to the state.
