U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, CA – Lance Cpl. Nicholas Taylor, a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Defense Specialist with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, uses a joint chemical agent detector to locate chemical agents on a work station suspected of being used to make chemical agents on Camp Pendleton, Calif., Sept. 14, 2018. The level bravo hazmat suit allows the Marines to be more offensive in CBRN situations because they can enter infected areas and locate perpetrators or chemicals used.
