Members of the North Carolina National Guard and Illinois Urban Search and Rescue Task Force 1 unload Meals Ready-to-Eat (MREs) and water supplies from a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence in Ringlewood, NC, September 17, 2018. The flooding aftermath caused by Hurricane Florence made it difficult to deliver personnel and relief supplies to the affected areas throughout Eastern NC. Roads were impassable at times, which required transportation of personnel and supplies to be made by helicopter or high water military vehicles.
