A U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress bomber assigned to the 69th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron lands at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, April 8, 2018. The mission was the last flight for the squadron before heading back to the U.S.. After two years of B-52 squadrons, the B-1 Lancer will arrive to continue the operations in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and Operation Freedom’s Sentinel in the U.S. Central Commands area of responsibility.
