U.S. Navy Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Equipment) 3rd Class Shelby Hochmuth signals for the launch of an E-2D Hawkeye aircraft assigned to Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 125 on the flight deck of the Navy’s forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during Valiant Shield 2018 in the Philippine Sea, Sept. 20, 2018. The biennial, U.S. only, field-training exercise focuses on integration of joint training among the U.S. Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps.
