North Carolina National Guard Capt. Richard Warner, commander of the 881st Engineer Support Company, plans recon routes which identify roads washed out during flooding in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence in the Boiling Springs Lakes community, Sept. 22, 2018. The engineer unit is capable of hasty road repairs which makes routes passable for emergency services and residents who require medical care and access to basic supplies.
