Norihiro Shimoji unlocks handcuffs on U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Tristan Sunder after performing a technique for the defensive tactics instructors course at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 19, 2018. Shimoji, a native of Okinawa, Japan, is the Japanese security guard training chief and Sunder, a native of Teaneck, New Jersey, is a patrol supervisor, both with the Provost Marshal’s Office, Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D.
