Sixty four-year-old Gwen Baake, a contestant in the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C autocross hosted by the Sports Car Club of America starts one of her three timed trials during the race at Cherry Point's Foxtrot Taxiway, Oct. 9. Baake had been racing autocross for six years and is the 2nd place champion in Lincoln, Neb., 1st place champion in Virginia and five-time H-Stock ladies state champion in North Carolina.
