Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division are sworn in by their Platoon Leader 1st Lt. David Devine, Oct. 10 at Contingency Operating Base Delta, Iraq. Villa, Baker and Christian re-enlisted for six years with stabilization. Re-enlisting for stabilization keeps soldiers at their current duty station for up to a year.
