General Talib Shghati al-Kinani, Iraqi Counter Terrorism Service (CTS) commander, leads a formation of the most recent graduating class of CTS 2nd school in Baghdad, Iraq, Oct. 1, 2018. The graduates will be randomly assigned to special operation forces battalions across Iraq. Since Jan. 2015, Coalition staff have overseen the training of more than 150,000 Iraqi servicemen and women across all ranks, including 55,000 Iraqi Army members; nearly 25,000 police and around 72,000 security, border guard and counter-terror personnel.
