A new bridge built near Range 2 is shown Sept. 6, 2018, on North Post at Fort McCoy, Wis. When the bridge was completed in August 2018, it completed a 12-kilometer live-fire convoy route between Ranges 29 and 4. The $688,000 bridge project spans the La Crosse River and restores a crossing that has been closed for many years. Work began on the project in late June 2018 by contractor Larson Construction of Chippewa Falls, Wis. (U.S. Army Photo by Scott T. Sturkol, Public Affairs Office, Fort McCoy, Wis.)
