181002-N-XK809-1071 SAN FRANCISCO (Oct. 2, 2018) Sailors and Marines, assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), move a concrete block at the San Francisco Fire Department Treasure Island Training Facility as part of the annual Defense Support of Civilian Authorities (DSCA) full-scale exercise during San Francisco Fleet Week 2018. San Francisco Fleet Week is an opportunity for the American public to meet their Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard teams and experience America’s sea services. During fleet week, service members participate in various community service events, showcase capabilities and equipment to the community, and enjoy the hospitality of San Francisco and its surrounding areas.
