SAN FRANCISCO (Oct. 3, 2018) Damon Victor (right), a paramedic assigned to the San Francisco Fire Department, holds pressure on the amputation site of a simulated patient’s leg while using augmented reality glasses to update a doctor in San Diego about the mock patient’s status as part of a tele-medical training exercise during San Francisco Fleet Week (SFFW) 2018. SFFW is an opportunity for the American public to meet their Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard teams and experience America's sea services. During fleet week, service members participate in various community service events, showcase capabilities and equipment to the community, and enjoy the hospitality of San Francisco and its surrounding areas.
