Clay Farrington, historian with the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, takes part in a historical living history event. Historical re-enactors with the non-profit group Fort Norfolk and Frigate Constellation present a living history event during Museum Day on Saturday, October 6, 2018. The living history display was in conjunction with Museum Day, which is an event organized by the Olde Town Business Association in Downtown Portsmouth, Virginia. The living history display took place in front of a new mural which depicted the Battle of Craney Island; which took place on June 22, 1813. The new mural was recently painted by artist Sam Welty, and commissioned by the non-profit Support Portsmouth Public Art. (US Navy photo by Max Lonzanida/Released)
