U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Jeremy Haney, an MV-22B Osprey aircraft pilot from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 263 (VMM-263), Marine Aircraft Group 26, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, conducts flight operations during an extraction in support of Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) course 1-19 in Laguna Army Air Field, Yuma, Arizona, Oct. 3, 2018. WTI is a seven-week training event hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1) which emphasizes operational integration of the six functions of Marine Corps aviation in support of a Marine air-ground task force. WTI provides standardized advanced tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications to support Marine aviation training and readiness, and assists in developing and employing aviation weapons and tactics.
