U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS – U.S. Marine Corps Master Sgt. Keith Rainer, the Deployable Joint Command and Control System staff noncommissioned officer-in-charge, addresses Marines during a routine rehearsal with their portable command and control systems. Known as "DJC2," the unit supports Naval Amphibious Force, Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade by providing services necessary to establish a self-contained, self-powered, network-enabled operations center anywhere in the U.S. Central Command area of operations.
