NAS JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Oct. 11, 2018)
A MH-60R helicopter from Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 74 departs Naval Air Station Jacksonville to assess damages over the Florida Panhandle. The area was devastated during Hurricane Michael on Oct. 10. U.S. Navy and Marine Corps personnel and assets will be prepared to provide Defense Support to Civilian Authorities, if requested through U.S. Northern Command in response to Hurricane Michael relief efforts.
