(Oct. 8, 2018) Sailors assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) bow their heads during an invocation aboard the USS Hornet Museum prior to a luncheon hosted by the Naval Order of the United States during San Francisco Fleet Week 2018. San Francisco Fleet Week is an opportunity for the American public to meet their Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard teams and experience America’s sea services. During San Francisco Fleet Week, service members participate in various community service events, showcase capabilities and equipment to the community, and enjoy the hospitality of San Francisco and its surrounding areas.
