Marines from Headquarters and Service Battalion stand at parade rest in formation during the Morning Colors Ceremony Oct. 7. There are three different formations present at the ceremony, one from 12th Marine Corps District, Headquarters and Service Battalion and the Recruit Training Regiment. Each formation is present so that the families can put a face to the Marines who turned their son into a Marine.
