A Japan Air Self-Defense Force member builds a pallet with humanitarian supplies from China in Balikpapan, Indonesia, Oct. 11, 2018. In support of USAID’s response efforts, military members assigned to the 374th Airlift Wing from Yokota Air Base, Japan and the 36th CRG have transported and offloaded over 221,000 lbs. of humanitarian supplies, as well as 122 passengers to include approximately 47 displaced people from Palu, Indonesia. Members from the 374th AW, 36th Contingency Response Group, at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam and various countries are supporting the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) humanitarian relief efforts in Indonesia.
