U.S. Navy Cmdr. David Porter (retired) takes a group photo with family and Marine Corps Base Hawaii leadership during the rededication ceremony of Sergeant Major Robert F. Porter Field, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Oct. 17, 2018. Sgt. Maj. Robert Porter served 30 years in the Marines Corps, which included service in World War II, Korea and two tours in Vietnam.
