Marines from 2nd Amphibious Assault Squadron carry their Meal, Ready-To-Eat boxes to compound where they will stay during their subject matter expert exchange with local Colombian military members. The MRE's will provide Marines with the nourishment needed during their eight day stay in Matuntugo. The Marines are participating in Amphibious Southern Partnership Station 12, an annual deployment of U.S. military training teams to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.
