Damage Controllman Third Class James Battaglia, a damage controller aboard the USS Oak Hill, supervises members of the Panamanian public security forces as they put out a mock fire in the Well Deck of the Oak Hill Oct. 31. Panamanian forces boarded the Oak Hill in order to conduct training alongside United States forces and to strengthen ties with partnership nations with South America. Oak Hill is participating in Southern Partnership Station, an annual deployment of U.S. military training teams to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility in the Caribbean and Latin America.
