Charles "Chas" Richard, Commander, Submarine Forces welcomes Gerard Butler, leading actor in the upcoming film "Hunter Killer," to the 2017 Battenberg Cup Award presentation ceremony at Naval Submarine Base New London. Butler was present at the ceremony to congratulate the crew of the Los-Angeles class fast-attack submarine USS Hartford (SSN 768) on being named the best all-around ship in the Atlantic Fleet and to take a tour of the submarine prior to an advance screening of the movie at the base theater later that afternoon.
