A Marine with Kilo Company, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, performs room clearing techniques during a helicopter raid training exercise at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Oct. 8, 2018. The Marines refined their raid capabilities which include: clearing enemy occupied buildings, establishing control points for friendly and enemy casualties, retrieving high value targets and weapons caches; and evacuating the area in a short, controlled time frame.
