Cpl. Jacob Macumber, a rifleman with Echo Company, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, teaches during exercise KAMANDAG 2 in the Philippines, Oct. 2, 2018. Macumber, a native of Denison, Iowa graduated Denison High School in May 2015 before enlisting in July of 2014 from Recruiting Substation Sea City. During exercise KAMANDAG 2, U.S. Marines trained and learned with Philippine Marines, strengthening both forces’ tactical skills and knowledge of warfighting.
